Greater BP drops in hypertensive patients may harm the kidneys

In individuals undergoing intensive blood pressure BP treatment greater reductions in mean blood pressure were linked with an increased risk of kidney function decline according to findings of a study published online November 3 2017 in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology CJASN .
